Web Analytics Manager – Manchester - £45,000 + bonus  – Tech

As they continue to invest heavily in their current and future digital strategy, they are now looking to recruit a talented, commercial & innovative Web Analytics Manager to help take Parcel2Go to the next stage of its growth ambitions. 

The ideal candidate will ideally have at least 3 years’ experience in a web analytics role and be ready for the next step in their career. If you are passionate about customer experience, data, learning new technologies and have a great eye for detail, then you are probably a great fit for this role.

The role: 

  • Obsess over customer experience across all platforms and provide analytics data to inform design decisions
  • Be the analytics expert across the team as well as the wider business, supporting the technical, design, marketing and commercial teams
  • Manage tag management solution
  • Own Google Analytics solution, managing user access, creating reports and providing analysis on an ad-hoc basis when needed
  • Own the development of measurement and data strategies
  • Ensure smooth processing and governance of analytics requests across the business, considering GDPR compliance, performance, and value.
  • Own and manage CRO & A/B testing platform and roadmap. Owning the set up and reporting of tests
  • Audit and manage cookie and privacy policies
  • Monitor website performance and report and escalate any issues found to relevant teams
  • Present analytics results and recommendations to a wide variety of technical and non-technical people across the business, in a way they will understand
  • Work with Tech Design and Build teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences across all platforms
  • Work with the wider teams to embed new analytics tools within the business
  • Help us optimise investments towards profitable acquisition activities, through a deep understanding of unit economics, customer database, segmentation, attribution, LTV and profitability models
  • Identify, explore, and support the implementation and reporting of new acquisition channel opportunities

 About you:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a web analytics role, with a sound understanding of the landscape.
  • Advanced at using analytics platforms, preferably Google Analytics (GA4) and Content Square
  • Advanced skills implementing and using tag manager platforms, preferably GTM
  • Skilled at visualising data through dashboards and reports
  • Excel at optimising customer experiences
  • Excellent MS Excel, numerical ability and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills are essential, along with an ability to manage a varied workload, to tight deadlines.
  • Strong ability to develop relationships with a range of teams and key stakeholders
  • JavaScript, SQL, Big Query, Supermetrics, Python knowledge (Desirable)
  • Ability to work independently under own initiative to identify and improve current processes and explore further opportunities.
  • Confident communicator able to build relationships across teams and at all levels, with an appetite to think outside the box and challenge convention.
  • Feed insights and findings into internal teams to improve CX and business performance
  • In-depth understanding of digital marketing, CRO and ad operations (Desirable )
  • Open-minded, flexible and have a positive attitude toward new challenges, with a willingness to learn, embrace new technologies and business change
