CRO Consultant – UK Remote Working - £50,000 - Ecommerce 

Do you have a passion for helping businesses grow online? Do you excel in improving e-commerce website performance through data analysis? Are you curious about online user behaviour? If yes, then this job may be for you!

A leading ecommerce agency are now seeking a talented individual who can run CRO and experimentation strategy for our client accounts. The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of CRO experience and a proven track record of delivering measurable results.

Working closely with our team of UX designers, front-end developers, QA analysts, and account managers, you will be the central point of contact for driving change and enabling our clients to achieve their goals. You'll play a crucial role in guiding your clients towards success, which involves taking a hands-on approach to both strategy and its implementation.

You'll be responsible for delivering qualitative and quantitative CRO research projects, configuring tools, planning and prioritising test hypotheses, setting up and managing experiments, and reporting on results. You'll report directly to the CRO Lead, who will provide mentorship and support as you grow in the role.

In short, to deliver a CRO strategy that grows our client’s businesses online, providing a measurable ROI.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the primary contact that provides strategic advice to clients.
  • Deliver tests and changes that measurably grow clients' businesses.
  • Share informative and persuasive presentations using insights from CRO research to lead the account strategy.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in account/project management..
  • Follow projects and tasks from conception to delivery. Skills and experience.
  • Develop testing strategies using conversion research and prioritization to drive growth and build a culture of experimentation.
  • Conduct conversion research using both quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
  • Collaborate with UX Designers and Front-end Developers to create effective solutions for e-commerce websites.
  • Report on test results and devise iterations to drive the testing strategy forwards.

About you:

  • Have expertise in the usability and design of highly converting websites and sales funnels.
  • Have experience carrying out different types of tests on websites, that target different audiences, including using the DataLayer.
  • Be comfortable providing wireframes and modifying HTML, CSS and Javascript when needed.
  • Be knowledgeable about Shopify Plus and apps, keeping informed of changes and developments within the platform.
  • Have at least 24 months of experience with Google Analytics and a testing platform, ideally with GAIQ certification obtained.
  • Have a genuine interest in CRO and the ability to demonstrate results.

Experience with these tools is essential:

  • GA4, GTM, Looker/Data Studio, Google Optimize, Hotjar, MS Clarity, UserFeel (or similar).
  • Lifetimely, PeelInsights, VWO, Convert Experiences, Clerk, Nosto, and Figma.
