Copywriter - Cheadle (Hybrid) - Up to £30,000 - Charity

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Copywriter to their team based in Cheadle on a hybrid basis, with some great progression and training opportunities. Our client is seeking a Copywriter who can work closely with the Communications Department to ensure the message is clear, consistent, and impactful. So if you're passionate about crafting compelling content, creating meaningful campaigns, and making a real difference in the world, then this role is perfect for you! 

In this role, you'll collaborate, conceptualise, and create captivating campaign ideas from start to finish. From global fundraising campaigns to internal initiatives, social media to video scripts, you'll play a crucial role in increasing engagement, donations, and retention among our key target audiences and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

  • React and implement feedback , with a great attention to detail
  • Deliver work within tight deadlines, ensuring quality of work is to a high standard 
  • Adhere to our brand style guide consistently
  • Maintain best practices for print, web, email, video, and mobile communications, including adherence to accessibility guidelines.
  • Contribute to the content strategy, ensuring alignment with overarching goals
  • Develop creative content for major campaigns 
  • Take the lead on creative ideas, headlines, and copy for campaigns, events, and challenges, including scriptwriting for videos, adverts, and documentaries

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of professional copywriting experience, ideally in an agency environment, across different categories and channels.
  • Experience in developing creative strategies aligned with business needs, understanding brand, customers, and brief objectives. 
  • Confident presentation and excellent communication skills with the wider team and internal stakeholders. 
  • Demonstrable understanding of copywriting best practices. 
  • Experience developing impactful marketing copy, from concept to delivery. 
  • Strong storytelling abilities and expertise in tone of voice development. 
  •  A positive attitude and a willingness to create innovative work.
