Data Services Manager

Data Services Manager - 1 day per week in Leeds or Stockport - £45,000 - Market Research

This is a pivotal position within the business, reporting into the Data Operations Director and working closely with the research teams as well as other members of the data team.

You will have a responsibility to contribute to departmental performance (Innovation, technical expertise, efficiency/ automation and quality assurance), as well as building and enhancing relationships within the data department and the wider company.

They are looking for a hardworking, self-starter who can meet the core objectives outlined above but also someone who can strategically look at how they can improve and expand

The role:

• Completing data collection from multiple platforms, handling the data and manipulating it to gain insight
• Producing visualisations and dashboards
• Create scripts using various capture programs
• Skilled in handling complex, visually engaging online surveys
• Develop systems for automating data format, analysis, and transfer
• Supporting and leading junior members within the data team
• Manage the workload and effectively communicate with all levels of employees within the business
• Problem solving using technical skills

The ideal candidate:

• Experience in a similar role
• Experienced with script creation using a variety of capture programmes
• Able to produce data sets and analyse of the back of that
• Confident with HTML, CSS, Javascript
• Even stronger application with experience of R, Python or VBA, but not essential
• Strong on excel

Candidates applying for this position must have held line responsibility for managing complex and high value projects for clients and ideally have some element of line management experience, along with delivering training, performance management and productivity measurement within the context of their role(s).
