Senior PR Account Manager – Cheshire – Up to £40,000 - Agency

The Candidate are working exclusively with an up-and-coming Communication’s agency who specialise in Beauty, Wellness and Health PR. Due to rapid growth, they are searching for a Senior PR Account Manager to join their growing team!

This is the perfect opportunity for a PR account handler who is looking to have ownership over 5 huge client accounts and manage a team of PR Executives. The Senior PR Account Manager will be a communications expert and passionate about meeting their clients PR objectives.

 Role & Responsibilities of the Senior PR Account Manager:

• Be your clients first point of contact and create
• Keep your clients up to date with progress reports and ensure all KPI’s are met
• Plan, coordinate and execute client press releases, launches, events etc
• Ensure client deliverables are met within time and budget constraints
• Mentor and guide your team of PR Executives ensuring their deadlines are met
• Proof read your PR Executives written work and ensure it is high quality and edit where necessary
• Develop and maintain excellent relations with press contacts and influencers
• Keep up to date with developments in PR and Communications
• Maintain high levels of coverage placement in daily/weekly/monthly titles through deep understanding of client issues
• Push relevant feature coverage in the media
• Monitor and track all media results with your team and analyse client coverage

Key skills & attributes of the Senior PR Account Manager:

• Ideally from a PR agency background or alternatively in-house candidates from a beauty/healthcare/wellness background will be considered
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent account management/client facing skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually
• Passionate about all things PR
• A creative thinker
• Commercial awareness
• Line management
